Traditional room, paper walls, friendly staff, spectacular breakfast, public bath area, television service.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room had a very traditional Japanese feel with tatami mats, paper walls/doors, and floor-beds. Breakfast was nothing short of spectacular and served daily with a wide range of small dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Nothing not to love about this hotel.

The hotel offers a full traditional Japanese experience, complete with tatami mats, yukatas, and a public bath. the staff is friendly and eager to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast is served every morning, featuring an impressive array of small dishes like soups, salmon, tuna, and rice. the location is fairly convenient, with accessible bus transportation to and from the train station. the television service in the room is a nice perk.
The hallway carpets in the hotel are old and could use some updating.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast that was provided every morning. It was delicious and offered a unique experience. the public bath area was a nice touch and added to the cultural experience of staying at this location. the hotel was also conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to get around.
The hotel could use some renovation as the carpets and overall decor seemed outdated. the lack of nearby attractions or things to do within walking distance was disappointing.

This traditional Japanese hotel gave us an authentic and memorable New Year experience. The staff was delightful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The public bath was a highlight, and the small details such as yukatas and floor-beds made us feel like we were truly in Japan. The breakfast offered a variety of dishes, and we loved trying new things. the location was convenient with easy access to transportation and local attractions.
Although the hotel is a beautiful establishment, some areas could use a little love and renovation, particularly the hallway carpets that seemed old and worn. The lack of nearby attractions within walking distance was also a downside, but since we were able to easily access transportation, it was not a major issue.
